Stowaway's Town Tavern

Stowaway's Town Tavern opened October 2025 at 63 Main Street in Bucksport, taking over the former MacLeod's space that anchored downtown for 45 years before closing earlier in the year. Co-owners Anna and Rob Degennaro — Rob previously ran The Bubble Room on Captiva Island, Florida — launched it as a family-friendly, family-style tavern with a deliberately wide-ranging New England menu: six Reuben variations, fish tacos, fish and chips, steaks, burritos, chowders, and a children's menu. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and a focus on regulars from Belfast, Ellsworth, and Bangor.
