Sammy's Deluxe

Sammy's Deluxe is chef-owner Sam Richman's Rockland restaurant on Main Street, a chef-driven independent room cooking simple, fresh, very straightforward, exceptionally delicious food in an Americana / New England / Maine register. Richman draws on technique picked up at restaurants like The Fat Duck, WD-50, 71 Clinton Fresh Food, Jean Georges, and Gramercy Tavern — but builds the menu around Midcoast Maine's basket of ingredients: halibut, razor clams, lobster, jonah crab, scallops, sea urchin, foraged chanterelles, black trumpets, matsutake, hen of the woods, kelps, Maine grains, and grass-fed beef. The New York Times named Sammy's Deluxe to its 2025 Restaurant List of the 50 Best Places in America Right Now. Open Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm.
