Salsa Shack Maine

Salsa Shack Maine opened December 2025 at 84 Main Street in Bucksport, the brick-and-mortar follow-up to chef-owner Cory LaForge's two-year food truck operation at Ellsworth Harbor Park and the Orland Community Center. The new space — the former My Buddy's Place and Friar's Brewhouse Tap Room before that — expanded the menu beyond the food truck's tortilla-sized footprint to include Maine-style street tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, bowls, and a kids' menu, with all meats braised in spices, lime juice, chilis, chipotles, and garlic. Tue–Sat 11am–5pm, with beer/wine license and expanded hours ahead.
