
Modern Indian restaurant in the former Frog & Turtle space at Vallee Square in Westbrook, opened January 2026 from LA restaurateur Antonio Kanickaraj.
Bombay Bistro held a ribbon cutting and grand opening on January 14–16, 2026 at 3 Vallee Square in Westbrook, in the former Bridge Street Frog & Turtle space. Co-owner Antonio Kanickaraj — a restaurant veteran with two decades of experience who also owns three restaurants in Los Angeles and splits time between Maine and LA — brought modern Indian cuisine to a Westbrook market underserved for authentic Indian. The menu highlights less common dishes alongside classics: kheema pav (minced lamb on soft bread), truffle malai chicken tikka, peshawari naan stuffed with dried fruits, tandoori paneer tikka, lamb seekh kebab, lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer burrata, Goan fish curry, pani puri shots, and a carrot halwa on hot skillet with butterscotch ice cream. Also some fusion Indian pizzas. Tue–Sun 11am–3pm lunch and 5–9pm dinner.
