Artisan bakery in Brunswick's Tontine Mall from Kyle Rogers (formerly Bread Pedlar pop-up), opened November 2025 with Maine Grains flour and Tandem Coffee.
Porteur Breads opened November 12, 2025 at 149 Maine Street in Brunswick's Tontine Mall, on the first floor in the former Indrani's gift shop space. Owner-baker Kyle Rogers is a self-taught Iowa-born baker who began at his home state's farmers markets, then built a loyal Maine following through his Bread Pedlar pop-up out of the former Nomad Pizza at Fort Andross. The name "Porteur" references porteur bikes, a nod to his original Bread Pedlar bicycle theme. The bakery offers artisan breads on a monthly schedule — sourdough daily, Italian weekly, fruit-or-nut breads on weekends, plus the signature honey walnut loaf on Fridays — alongside croissants and pastries. Flour from Maine Grains in Skowhegan, espresso and drip from Tandem Coffee in Portland. Wed–Sun, 7am–3pm.
