Husband-and-wife scratch restaurant in Portland's East End — named one of Eater's 15 Best New Restaurants in America for 2025.

Angela Lee and Alex LeBlanc opened Luncheonette in June 2025 at 147 Cumberland Avenue in the former Union Bagel space, returning from New York to LeBlanc's hometown Portland. Lee built her pastry credentials at Petee's Pie Company and trained as a whole-animal and fish butcher at The Meat Hook and Osakana, while LeBlanc was a sous chef at Sailor and chef de cuisine at Gus's in Brooklyn. The eclectic, expansive menu reflects Lee's Korean American heritage — vegetables dressed in gochujang and sesame, bibimbap fortified with za'atar tofu, celery root remoulade — and earned Eater's Best New Restaurants list for 2025, the only New England spot to make the cut.
