Asian and specialty grocery from Claire Fuller of Glo's Carinderia, opened December 2025 in Belfast to bring Filipino and Asian pantry staples to the Midcoast.
Glo's Market opened early December 2025 at 382C Starrett Drive in Belfast (next to Foster's Pets), the retail offshoot of Claire Fuller's Glo's Carinderia Filipino food stand at the United Farmers Market of Maine. Fuller — a former Oriental Plaza and McDonald's Belfast employee turned full-time Filipino home cook — launched the specialty grocery to bring Asian pantry ingredients (spring roll shells, lumpia mix from Mama Sita's, sweet chili sauce, spices, sauces, noodles) to the Midcoast, ending the cases-from-Portland-once-a-month supply runs that had been the only option locally. The shop encourages cooking via packet-recipe directions on the back of imported staples.
