Gill's Neighborhood Bar

Gill's Neighborhood Bar opened September 25, 2025 at 133 Spring Street in the former Bao Bao Dumpling House space in the West End. Wayside Tavern owners Siobhán and Michael Sindoni partnered with chef Rian Wyllie (formerly of Lenora) to build a 40-seat cocktail-forward neighborhood room with an 8-seat bar along the right wall, booth and high-top tables, designed by Molly Miller of Meter Haus. The bar runs house takes on classics like the Gibson, local and European drafts, and roughly 10 wines by the glass. Food: elevated pub like patty melts, Italian sandwiches, stuffed clams, salads. Named for Gill's Handy Store, the mid-century corner store the space once housed. Thu–Mon, 4pm–10pm (until 11pm Fri/Sat).
