Red-sauce Italian restaurant and Philly hoagie shop from Ramona's owner Josh Sobel, opened May 2025 in the former Broken Arrow space on Congress Street.
Benny's opened May 14, 2025 at 545 Congress Street, chef-owner Josh Sobel's natural follow-up to his East Bayside hoagie shop Ramona's. The 32-seat Arts District room runs Philly-inspired sandwiches by day and red-sauce Italian by night — soft pretzel garlic knots, Ramona's meatballs, rigatoni alla vodka, linguine and clams, chicken and eggplant parm — with a small cocktail menu including a Margherita-pizza-inspired martini and the Benny's Handshake Spritz. Carrie Dessertine of Mey & Co. designed the space, hung with 1970s–80s Philadelphia sports memorabilia. Wed–Sun, 4–9pm.
