Since 1974, the Woolwich, Maine timber-framing institute has taught generations of builders—and through its online Shelter Tools shop offers heirloom-quality hand tools: timber-framing chisels, slicks, Japanese hand saws, Maine-made axes, and Peavey logging tools.
