Evalina Hotel

Opening May 1, 2026, the Evalina Hotel is a 15-suite boutique property on Portland's Old Port waterfront, set inside the restored Granite Block Building at 215 Commercial Street, built in 1854. Named for one of the building's earliest owners, Evalina Fox, it offers an intimate, residential-style stay across five floors — five one-bedroom suites and ten two-bedroom suites — with private decks overlooking Commercial Street, exposed masonry and original granite lintels paired with custom cabinetry, and three duplex suites with mezzanine living on the top floor. Owner Scott Lindsay has stewarded the building since 1993; the hotel is operated by Portland-based Fathom Companies, which also runs The Press Hotel, The Weldon Hotel, The Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfront, and The Brunswick Hotel.
