Color Afoot Press is an independent art business based in the Highlands region of Maine. Painter Peggy Clark Lumpkins works from her Brownville studio — where she and her husband settled in 1987 to build their home and gardens — producing oil paintings of Mainescapes, florals, and seascapes alongside notecards, giclee prints, and an annual 11x17 calendar. Lumpkins was named Belfast Arts in the Park Artist of the Year for 2025 and exhibits regularly at festivals across the state.
