The Barn at Hatch Point

Owners Kelly and Darren Carey opened The Barn at Hatch Point as a destination wedding and event venue in Bowdoinham, set on the water's edge of the Kennebec River with views of Swan Island. The 4,480 sq ft black-exterior, industrial-interior barn holds up to 175 guests and is paired with multiple outdoor ceremony patios, a caterer's kitchen, two full bars, and a dance floor. Ten individual cabins plus a master cabin allow couples and their guests to stay on property, turning the celebration into a weekend retreat. Kelly transitioned to venue ownership after a decade as a wedding photographer; Darren, Tralee-born, brings hospitality and an easy warmth to every event.
