Gulf of Maine Books is an independent books business based in Midcoast Maine. The Brunswick bookstore on Maine Street has been a literary fixture since 1979—owners Beth Leonard and Gary Lawless are poets in their own right and host frequent poetry readings, book signings, and author events alongside a curated selection of literary, regional, and used books.
